Sensory Deprivation Tank in Sacramento

About Floating

50% Salt
Like the Dead Sea, the water in our float tanks is 50% Epsom salt. It's great for your skin and hair and naturally relaxes the body.
0% Gravity
In our sensory deprivation tank in Sacramento, you float effortlessly on the water. All weight and tension disappears while your body undergoes the same regeneration process that transpires during sleep.
100% You
An hour of no gravity and no distractions will decrease the production of cortisol, a stress hormone, leaving you feeling the way you're meant to; refreshed, focused, and serene.

What Is Floatation Therapy?

Imagine yourself floating in a super-saturated solution of Epsom salt and water. Gravity, sight, sound, and touch are all absent, allowing you to lose track of space and time. This is our sensory deprivation tank at Saha Float.

Get into the rhythm of prioritizing yourself with a sauna to detox, a float to reset, and a facial to rejuvenate. Then, watch as a healthier version of yourself emerges.

This zero-gravity experience releases joint pressure and chronic pain. It's especially helpful for people who experience discomfort after workouts or during pregnancy.

"Everything you’d need is provided for you!"

My husband and I had a great experience at Saha. We started with a 30 min sauna together and then we each floated for an hour. The spa is beautiful, well kept, and just overall a very relaxing environment. We were unsure of exactly what we needed, but everything you’d need is provided for you. So just like they say, just bring yourself and the rest is provided. The float itself was so relaxing and my body (and mind!) feels great even this next morning. I was hesitant about floating and just sort of nervous I wouldn’t be able to relax, but after getting a run through from the staff and stepping in the tank (which is much bigger than I imagined) I couldn’t help but relax. I know we will be back. Thanks for a great experience!

Epsom salt floats have helped my body or mind relax. I’ve been floating here for over a year. Book your room and time slot ahead of time on their website. I love room 1 and 2 which has a big round pool instead a rectangle, you can really spread out. You also get a choice of spa type music to play just at the start, the whole time, or not at all. You don’t need a bathing suit or towel, they provide everything you need. Afterwards, have tea on the couch before you leave to transition. I’ve also enjoy the sauna first and then the float spa as a combo.

"It will definitely not be my only visit."

First time trying out a float session, but certainly wish I had learned about this sooner. The facilities were clean and up to date, and ambient music and mood lighting graced the halls. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of float therapy. Christina at the front desk was great in getting me situated for my first session and guiding me through the process. As recommended by her, I first did a 30 min sauna, followed by a 60 min float in Epsom bath salts. I felt weightless and unbridled floating, which absolutely helped to ease the pain I've had in my leg the last month from biking and exercise. The darkness and near silence (I opted to have the music playing) made the environment so meditative, I'd all but lost track of time. I honestly can't recall last when I was that relaxed - it will definitely not be my only visit. Thanks Saha!

I’ve been floating for 6 years. It helps me heal from injuries and deepens my mindfulness practice. Of all the float spas I’ve been to, this is one of the best - last week was my first visit here. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The float pods here are spacious and the atmosphere is super relaxing. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! There is no age limit to floating, however we’ve found that kids 8 years and older start to appreciate the stillness of floatation therapy. Floating is great for children with ADHD, depression, anxiety, or are active in sports!

We strongly believe in providing everyone access to floatation therapy. If there are special circumstances that would warrant two people in a cabin (i.e. a child floating with their parent or persons with disabilities who are interested in floating), please contact us directly so we can make the necessary arrangements. Our large FloatAround Cabins can accommodate two individuals.

The 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt acts as a natural disinfectant. We also use hydrogen peroxide, ultraviolet light, and a state-of-the-art Floataway filtration system that filters the water three times between every float session, and every hour even if not used.

Many people fall asleep, but the water is so buoyant, that you’ll stay afloat and there’s nothing to worry about!

People with claustrophobia consistently report no problems with floating. If you’d prefer, you can float with the doors open and lights on – you have full control of your environment.

You can cancel up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled session with no penalty. Any cancellations within 24 hours of the session may be subject to a $10 fee for saunas, $25 for float, and $50 for facials.
